Fill the trolley (game)

Calcium is essential for the proper functioning of your body and can be found in the skeleton and teeth, in the cells and in the blood. The body gets calcium from the food we eat. If there is not enough calcium, the body takes it from the bones resulting in the bones becoming less dense and more fragile, which may in turn lead to Osteoporosis.

The amount of calcium we need differs with age and is anywhere from 600mg to 1200 mg per day. You need more when you're younger and building bones, pregnant (and breast feeding) and when you are older. It is recommended that older people should have a daily intake of 700 mg of calcium per day. Eating foods rich in calcium stops calcium being lost from your bones.

Instructions

You are in the supermarket to do your daily shopping. You know that you need approximately 700mg of calcium per day. Fill your basket with enough food for the day selecting items you think are rich in Calcium.
