  • Medicine you buy over the counter may interfere with what you are taking already. Check with your GP or pharmacist if they can be taken at the same time.
  • Some medicine can cause drowsiness. Be careful when you drive or go out on your own.
  • If you think that you experience any side effects from a medication, report them immediately to your doctor or your family.
  • Don’t mix your medication with alcohol, because it could cause balance problems and also increase side effects from the medication.
  • Never take someone else’s medication. Drugs that work on one person could be harmful to another.
  • Carry the information about your medication with you at all time, in particular for medications such as insulin and steroids.
