Specialists

After an initial assessment your GP (or the consultant in the hospital) may refer you to a falls specialist in the hospital or to other relevant departments.

You may be referred to the following specialists if necessary:

• an eye doctor (opthamologist)
• an ear, nose & throat (ENT) doctor
• a foot health specialist (podiatrist)
• a District nurse
• social care services
